Stuffed French Bread
Comments: If desired, use any cold cooked meat slices instead of ham.
  • 1 1/2 pounds [680 g] cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pound [454 g] hot pepper cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] minced onion
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] finely chopped parsley
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] milk
  • Butter, softened
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • Sliced ham
  • Dill pickle slices
  • Well mix together softened cream cheese, grated hot pepper cheese, minced onion, finely chopped parsley and milk.
  • Half bread loaf lengthwise.
  • Butter both cut sides of bread.
  • Evenly spread cream cheese mixture over cut bottom half of bread.
  • Generously garnish with sliced ham.
  • Top with dill pickle slices, then with top half of bread.
  • Slice stuffed bread sideways, and serve.
