- 1 egg
- 1 cup [250 mL] grated cheese
- 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can cream of tomato soup concentrate
- 1 pinch dry mustard [optional]
- Toasted bread slices
- Butter

- Beat egg.
- Mix beaten egg and grated cheese into cream of tomato soup concentrate.
- If desired, stir in dry mustard.
- Heat to melt cheese and thicken mixture.
- Leave to cool.
- Butter toasted bread slices on one, or both sides to grill.
- Spread cheesy tomato mixture over half of buttered toasts, top with remaining toasts.
- If desired, grill sandwiches.
