- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] cooking oil
- 1 pound [454-g frozen ground turkey, thawed
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] green onion slices
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] m.s.g. [optional]
- 18 ounces [227 g] cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] sour cream
- 1 cup [250 mL] chopped green olives
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Tabasco sauce
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] slivered almonds [optional]
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Into a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until really hot.
- Crumble thawed ground turkey into skillet then mix in green onion slices, chopped garlic and, if desired, m.s.g.
- Fry stirring often to break-up turkey meat, until no longer pink; drain.
- Salt and pepper drained cooked golden turkey meat.
- Into a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and sour cream until smooth before mixing in golden turkey meat, chopped green olives and Tabasco sauce.
- Using a spoon, evenly spread mixture into a 1 1/4-inch [3-cm] deep 9-inch [23-cm] pie plate.
- If desired, garnish mixture with slivered almonds.
- Transfer into preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes, until boiling hot, before serving.
