- 1/2 cup [125 mL] vinegar
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] ketchup
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] water
- 1 [8 1/2-ounce / 242-mL] bottle plum sauce

- Into a saucepan, combine vinegar, brown sugar, ketchup and water.
- Bring to a boil; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in plum sauce.
- Simmer for a few minutes more.
