Beer Barbecue Sauce for Steak

Servings: 1 2/3 cups [410 mL]
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] beer
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup [160 mL] chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] honey
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] brown sugar
  • Combine all ingredients into a small casserole.
  • Simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve brown sugar.
  • Keep sauce warm.
  • To serve, pour sauce over meat.
