Hoisin Sauce

Servings: 5/8 cup [156 mL]
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons [60 mL] soy paste
  • 5 teaspoons [25 mL] Chinese-style plum sauce, chutney or prune jam
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] corn oil
  • 5 teaspoons [25 mL] chili sauce
  • Mix together all ingredients, until smooth.
