Beer Sauce for Chicken Brochettes

  • 2 cups [500 mL] chili sauce
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] brown sugar
  • 2 cans beer
  • 3 tablespoons [45 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons [22.5 mL] vinegar
  • 1/8 cup [30 mL] lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] honey
  • A little mixture of butter and flour
    or
    A little cornstarch mixed into a little water
  • Combine all ingredients into a casserole.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Thicken to taste, with flour or cornstarch mixture.
