Express Chili Sauce

Comments: Either served hot, or at room temperature.
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] chili sauce
  • 1 medium-size onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons [22.5 mL] oil
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] tarragon
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon [7.5 mL] brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • Into a casserole, bring together all ingredients to a boil.
  • Lower heat; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat.
