- 4 cups [1 L] fresh cranberries
- 2 cups [500 mL] sugar
- 1 cup [250 mL] chopped dried apricots
- 1 cup [250 mL] raisins
- 1 cup [250 mL] water
- 1 cup [250 mL] orange juice
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] grated orange rind

- Mix together cranberries, sugar, chopped dried apricots, raisins, water, orange juice and grated orange rind into a large saucepan.
- Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Higher heat, cover and boil until cranberries burst, for approximately 8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour mixture into a bowl.
- Cover and refrigerate until cold [mixture will thicken as it cools down].
