Bolognese Sauce with Ground Turkey or Beef

  • 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 pound [227 g] ground turkey or beef
  • 1 [28-ounce / 454-g] can whole Italian tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Freshly chopped parsley, to taste
  • Melt butter into a large frying pan over low heat.
  • Stirring, brown together finely chopped and ground turkey or beef.
  • Mix in whole Italian tomatoes, salt, pepper and freshly chopped parsley.
  • Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, before serving.
