- 3 tablespoons [45 g] butter
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 pound [227 g] ground turkey or beef
- 1 [28-ounce / 454-g] can whole Italian tomatoes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Freshly chopped parsley, to taste

- Melt butter into a large frying pan over low heat.
- Stirring, brown together finely chopped and ground turkey or beef.
- Mix in whole Italian tomatoes, salt, pepper and freshly chopped parsley.
- Simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, before serving.
