- 1/2 cup [125 mL] pineapple juice
- 3 tablespoons [45 mL] oil
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] black pepper
- A little cornstarch
- Cold water
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] vinegar

- Bring together pineapple juice, oil, brown sugar, soy sauce and black pepper to a boil.
- Meanwhile, dissolve a little cornstarch into a little cold water.
- Stir into boiling mixture until thickened.
- Stir in vinegar, and serve.
