Chocolate Mice

  • 8 3/4 ounces [250 g] semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] sour cream
  • 2 cups [500 mL] chocolate cookie crumbs
  • Licorice laces
  • Slivered almonds
  • Silver balls [cake decorations]
  • Melt chocolate chips; mix in sour cream.
  • Stir in 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] chocolate cookie crumbs.
  • Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Shape into small mice.
  • Add tails [cut licorice lace].
  • Dip mice into remaining crumbs, one at a time.
  • Add ears [slivered almonds] and eyes [silver balls] to mice.
