- 2 cups [500 mL] rice krispies cereals
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] minced dried fruits [apricots, raisins and/or dates...]
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] fast cooking rolled oats
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] corn syrup
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] lightly packed brown sugar

- Mix together cereals, minced dried fruits and rolled oats; set aside.
- Into a saucepan, melt together corn syrup and brown sugar.
- Add cereal mixture; stir delicately until well combined.
- Lightly press mixture into a square 8-inch [20-cm] lightly greased pan.
- Refrigerate until cool.
- Cut into squares.
