Crunchy Chocolate Bars

  • 2 cups [500 mL] semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] chunky peanut butter
  • 3 cups [750 mL] cheerios cereals
  • Grease an 8-inch [20-cm] square baking pan.
  • Into the top part of a double boiler, melt together chocolate chips and peanut butter, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat; slowly stir in cereals.
  • Spread evenly into prepared pan.
  • Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
  • To serve, cut into large or small bars.
