Caramel Butter

If you leave this caramel for too long on the counter top, it is quite possible that you will find your children licking their fingers!

| Ingredients | Preparation |
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] butter
- 4 cups [1 L] brown sugar
- 2 cups [500 mL] corn syrup
- 1 can [10 1/2-ounce / 300 mL] sweetened condensed milk
|
- Melt butter.
- Mix in brown sugar and corn syrup.
- Bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes, not more [really important].
- Remove from heat; pour in sweetened condensed milk.
- Stir.
