Caramel Butter

  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] butter
  • 4 cups [1 L] brown sugar
  • 2 cups [500 mL] corn syrup
  • 1 can [10 1/2-ounce / 300 mL] sweetened condensed milk
  • Melt butter.
  • Mix in brown sugar and corn syrup.
  • Bring to a boil; boil for 3 minutes, not more [really important].
  • Remove from heat; pour in sweetened condensed milk.
  • Stir.
