Corn Flakes Macaroons

Comments: As a kid, I used to love these macaroons.
IngredientsPreparation
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 cup [250 mL] sugar
  • 2 cups [500 mL] corn flakes cereals
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts
  • 1 cup [250 mL] grated coconut
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] vanilla
  • Beat egg whites until firm, but not dry.
  • Fold in sugar, corn flakes cereals, nuts and coconut.
  • Mix in vanilla.
  • Spoon small amounts of mixture onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake into a preheated 300°F to 350°F [150 to 180°F] oven, until golden.
