- 3 egg whites
- 3/4 cup [190 mL] sugar
- 1/2 pound [227 g] flaked coconut
- Butter

- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Beat egg whites until firm, beating in sugar.
- Fold in coconut flakes.
- Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto a buttered cookie sheet.
- Bake into preheated oven, until just lightly browned.
- Watch carefully, they burn fast!
