Chocolate or Butterscotch Fudge

  • 3 cups [750 mL] chocolate or butterscotch chips
  • 1 [10 1/2-ounce / 300-mL] can sweetened condensed milk
  • Nuts [to taste]
  • Non-stick spray
  • Into the top part of a double-boiler, melt chocolate or butterscotch chips for approximately 5 minutes [ or microwave, into a microwave-oven safe dish, on 'HIGH' / 100%].
  • Remove from heat.
  • Mix in sweetened condensed milk and, if desired some nuts, until smooth.
  • Pour into a square 8-inch [20-cm] dish, already sprayed with non-stick spray.
