- 3 1/2 ounces [100 g] whole candied cherries
- 7 ounces [200 g] almond paste
- 1 egg white
- Few drops red food coloring

- Preheat oven to 450°F [230°C].
- Finely chop 2 4/5 ounces [80 g] of candied cherries.
- Mix together chopped candied cherries, almond paste and egg white.
- Shape mixture into balls; completely cover each remaining whole candied cherry with almond paste mixture.
- Bake into preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Leave to cool completely, before serving.
