Cheesy Fudge

  • 4 ounces [113 g] cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 2 1/2 cups [625 mL] icing sugar
  • 2 [28-g / 1-ounce] each unsweetened chocolat squares, melted
  • 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts [optional]
  • Cream cream cheese before mixing in icing sugar, melted unsweetened chocolate and, if desired, chopped nuts.
  • Press into a greased 8-inch [20-cm] square pan.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Cut into small squares to serve.
