Crunchy Spicy Potato Slices

  • 2 1/2 cups [625 mL] butter or margarine
  • 24 medium-size unpeeled potatoes, cleaned and thinly sliced
  • 6 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] lemon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] hot and spicy seasoned salt
  • 3 1/2 cups [875 mL] Mexican salsa
  • 3 cups [750 mL] sour cream
  • Into a medium-size casserole, melt butter or margarine.
  • Add potato slices; well coat slices with melted butter or margarine.
  • Evenly arrange onion slices into casserole.
  • Sprinkle with lemon pepper and seasoned salt.
  • Turn slices often, until golden.
  • Serve, along with Mexican salsa and sour cream.
