Broccoli Flowerets with Almonds

  • 1 broccoli, into flowerets
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] butter
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] sliced almonds
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Steam broccoli flowerets until 'al dente'; arrange onto a serving plate.
  • Reserve, hot.
  • Into a frypan, melt butter.
  • Lightly brown almond slices in melted butter.
  • Stir in lemon juice.
  • Pour over hot broccoli flowerets.
  • Salt and pepper.
  • Stir and serve.
