- 1 broccoli, into flowerets
- 1/4 cup [60 g] butter
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] sliced almonds
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- Salt and pepper, to taste

- Steam broccoli flowerets until 'al dente'; arrange onto a serving plate.
- Reserve, hot.
- Into a frypan, melt butter.
- Lightly brown almond slices in melted butter.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Pour over hot broccoli flowerets.
- Salt and pepper.
- Stir and serve.
