Baked Squash [2 different ways]

  • 1 squash
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Sausage meatballs
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Half squash.
  • Remove seeds and membranes.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 55 minutes, until tender.
  • To serve, carefully remove, mash and sprinkle pulp with salt and pepper; stuff peel with seasoned mashed pulp.

  • For a change, brown some sausage meatballs while baking squash.
  • After 35 minutes baking time, stuff squash halves with sausage meatballs.
  • Bake for 20 minutes more, and serve.
