- 2 to 3 pounds [1 to 1.5 kg] carrots, peeled then sliced
- 1/2 pound [227 g] Velveeta cheese
- 1 ounce [30 g] butter or margarine
- Cornflakes cereals crumbs
- Tiny butter pieces

- Boil carrot slices until soft.
- Meanwhile, melt together cheese and butter or margarine.
- Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Drain then transfer carrot slices into an oven-safe dish; pour in melted cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle all over with cornflakes cereals crumbs.
- Dot with tiny butter pieces.
- Bake into preheated oven, until boiling.
