Cheesy Carrots

  • 2 to 3 pounds [1 to 1.5 kg] carrots, peeled then sliced
  • 1/2 pound [227 g] Velveeta cheese
  • 1 ounce [30 g] butter or margarine
  • Cornflakes cereals crumbs
  • Tiny butter pieces
  • Boil carrot slices until soft.
  • Meanwhile, melt together cheese and butter or margarine.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Drain then transfer carrot slices into an oven-safe dish; pour in melted cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle all over with cornflakes cereals crumbs.
  • Dot with tiny butter pieces.
  • Bake into preheated oven, until boiling.
