Candied Red Onion

  • 2 tablespoons [30 mL] oil
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup [60 mL] raspberry syrup
  • Over medium heat, heat oil into a frypan.
  • Lightly brown chopped red onion into hot oil.
  • Pour in raspberry syrup.
  • Cook onion over medium heat until caramelized.
