French Onion Rings

  • 10 pounds [4.5 kg] large onions
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying
  • Peel and slice onions [1/4-inch / 6 mm thick].
  • Separate rings, being careful not to break them.
  • Dips rings into milk and then coat with a mixture of flour and just a little salt.
  • Deep fry until light golden brown.
