- 4 1/2 pounds [2 kg] butter
- 2 1/4 pounds [1 kg] sugar
- 4 eggs
- 6 1/2 pounds [3 kg] flour
- Maple extract
- Nuts

- Cream together butter and sugar; add eggs, flour and maple extract.
- Add nuts to taste.
- Form into a small roll and refrigerate.
- Cut into cookies, arrange on parchemin paper and bake in a 350°F [180°C] oven.
