Baked Custard

  • 7 eggs
  • 1 cup [200 g] sugar
  • Vanilla, to taste
  • Orange flower water, to taste
  • 4 cups [1 L] lukewarm milk
  • Preheat oven to 300°F to 350°F [150°C to 180°C].
  • Into a mixing bowl, well beat together eggs, sugar, vanilla and orange flower water.
  • Slowly pour in lukewarm milk mixing until well blended.
  • Fill individual molds with mixture.
  • Transfer molds into a pan filled with hot water.
  • Bake into preheated oven until set.
