- 6 to 8 bread slices
- 2 cups [500 mL] ham or breakfast sausage link dices
- 1 cup [225 g] grated Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 3 cups [750 mL] milk
- Melted butter

- REmove crusts from bread slices.
- Dip 1 side of slice of bread into melted butter.
- Arrange half of bread slices, buttered side down, into a 9 x 13-inch [23 x 33-cm] baking dish.
- Evenly sprinkle bread slices with ham or breakfast link dices and grated Cheddar cheese.
- Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Well beat together eggs and milk; pour all over bread slices.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- On the next day, preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Transfer eggs mixture into preheated oven for approximately 1 hour, until set.
