- 8 3/4 ounces [250 g] semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] sour cream
- 2 cups [500 mL] fine chocolate cookie crumbs
- 15 approximately 2-inch [5-cm] long pieces black licorice lace
- 30 almond slices
- 30 tiny round silver cake decorations

- Melt chocolate chips; leave melted chocolate to cool completely, before mixing in sour cream.
- Then mix in 1 1/2 cups [375 mL] of fine chocolate cookie crumbs.
- Refrigerate mixture for 15 minutes.
- Shape cooled mixture into 15 tiny 'mice'.
- Add a tail to each 'mouse' [piece black licorice lace].
- Then coat 'mice' with remaining fine chocolate cookie crumbs.
- Add 'ears' [almond slices], then 'eyes' [tiny round silver cake decorations] to each mouse.
