- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] unflavored gelatin
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] milk
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] boiling water
- 3/4 cup [150 g] sugar
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] vanilla
- 2 cups [500 mL] heavy whipping cream [35%]
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] orange liquor
- Tiny chocolate buds, to decorate [optional]

- Into a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup [60 mL[ of the milk; set aside until swollen.
- Pour boiling water over swollen gelatin, then stir until completely melted; set aside.
- Into medium bowl, mix together sugar and cocoa powder; pour in remaining milk, vanilla, cream and orange liquor.
- Beat mixture at medium speed of an electric beater, until soft peaks form.
- Beating at high speed of electric mixer, slowly pour in swollen gelatin, betaing until stiff peaks form.
- Evenly spoon mixture into 8 fancy dessert bowls.
- Refrigerate until really firm before serving, decorated with tiny chocolate buds if desired.
