Apricot Brown Sugar Ham

  • 1 [10-pound / 4.5-kg] fully-cooked spiral cut ham
  • 2/3 cup [160 mL] brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup [80 mL] apricot jam
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] dry mustard
  • Preheat oven to 275°F [135°C].
  • Transfer ham cut side down onto a sheet of aluminum foil, shiny side up.
  • Mix together brown sugar, apricot jam and dry mustard into a small bowl.
  • Brush mixture onto ham reserving any leftover glaze.
  • Enclose the foil around the ham; transfer ham onto a rimmed baking sheet.
  • Roast ham into preheated oven for approximately 2 hours, counting 14 minutes per pound [454 g] for a larger or smaller ham, brushin ham with remaining glaze 20 minutes before the end of roasting time.
