- 8 cups [2 L] hot strong coffee
- 2 cups [500 mL] cold milk
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 g] sugar
- 8 cups [2 L] vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup [250 mL] whipping cream
- Nutmeg

- Mix together hot coffee, milk, vanilla and sugar; leave to cool.
- Just before serving, break ice cream into chunks into a punch bowl; pour in cooled coffee.
- Whip cream; drop, 1 spoonful at a time, on top of punch.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg.
