Coffee Punch
Comments: The mixture can be prepared the day before.

  • 8 cups [2 L] hot strong coffee
  • 2 cups [500 mL] cold milk
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 g] sugar
  • 8 cups [2 L] vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup [250 mL] whipping cream
  • Nutmeg
  • Mix together hot coffee, milk, vanilla and sugar; leave to cool.
  • Just before serving, break ice cream into chunks into a punch bowl; pour in cooled coffee.
  • Whip cream; drop, 1 spoonful at a time, on top of punch.
  • Sprinkle with nutmeg.
