Beer Bread

  • 2 cups [180 g] white prepared flour
  • 3 tablespoons [45 g] sugar
  • 1 [12-ounce / 355-mL] can beer, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] melted butter
  • preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
  • Mix together flour, sugar and beer until just moistened.
  • Pour into a buttered bread loaf pan.
  • Bake into preheated oven, for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and brush top of bread with melted butter.
  • Unmold onto a wire rack; leave to cool completely.
