- 2 cups [180 g] white prepared flour
- 3 tablespoons [45 g] sugar
- 1 [12-ounce / 355-mL] can beer, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon [15 g] melted butter

- preheat oven to 375°F [190°C].
- Mix together flour, sugar and beer until just moistened.
- Pour into a buttered bread loaf pan.
- Bake into preheated oven, for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Remove from oven and brush top of bread with melted butter.
- Unmold onto a wire rack; leave to cool completely.
