- 4 ounces [114 g] cream cheese, at room temperature
- 2 ounces [57 g] grated sharp Cheddar cheese, at room temperature
- 1 ounce [28 g] butter, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] sour cream
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] dry sherry
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] lemon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] dried minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] creamy mustard
- 8 bread slices
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] chopped nuts or pecans

- Well mix together cream cheese, grated sharp Cheddar cheese, butter, at room temperature, sour cream, dry sherry, lemon pepper, dried minced garlic and creamy mustard.
- Reserving 1 tablespoon [15 mL] mixture, evenly spread remaining mixture over 4 of bread slices.
- Cover with 4 remaining bread slices; half each sandwich diagonally.
- Spread cut sides of sandwich halves with reserved mixture; garnish with chopped nuts or pecans.
- Individually wrap sandwich halves.
