Fig Strawberry Preserves

  • 3 cups [750 mL] peeled and mashed figs
  • 3 cups [600 g] sugar
  • 2 [3-ounce / 85-g each] packages strawberry-flavored gelatin
  • Hot sterilized jars with lids
  • Well mix together all the ingredients into a casserole.
  • Bring to a boil and leave to boil for 10 minutes.
  • Pour hot into hot sterilized jars, and seal.
