Pineapple Souffle
Comments: Excellent serve along with ham and roasted pork.
Easy to make, this souffle can be prepared ahead of time.

IngredientsPreparation
  • 4 slices white bread, crusts removed
  • 2 teaspoons [9 g] flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup [100 g] sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 [14-ounce / 398-mL] can crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 pound [113 g] margarine, into tiny pieces
  • Preheat oven to 350°F [180°C].
  • Tear bread apart and transfer pieces into a 6-cup [1.5-L] greased casserole.
  • Well mix in flour, salt, sugar, beaten eggs and undrained crushed pineapple.
  • Top all over with tiny margarine pieces.
  • Bake into preheated oven for 45 minutes.
