- 1/2 pound [227 kg] bacon strips
- 1/2 pound [227 kg] ground beef or italian sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] BBQ sauce
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] mustard
- 2 teaspoons [10 mL] molasses or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] chili powder
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] pepper
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can butter beans, drained
- 1 can garbonzo beans, drained
- 31 ounce [880 mL] can pork and beans

- Cook onion in bacon grease.
- Mix and bake all ingredients together in a 350°F [180°C] oven for 1 hour.
