Cocktail Meatballs

Meatballs
  • 2 pounds [1 kg] ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] dried onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon [5 mL] seasoned salt
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Sauce
  • 1 [10-ounce / 284-mL] can tomato soup
  • 1 [14-ounce / 398-mL] can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup [250 mL] brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon [15 mL] vinegar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon [15 g] sugar
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • 10 ounces [310 mL] water
  • Mix together all meatballs ingredients.
  • Form into tiny meatballs.
  • Mix together all sauce ingredients.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Drop balls into bubbly sauce.
  • Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
