Baked Chicken with Milk

  • 1/4 cup [60 g] margarine
  • 3 pounds [1.4 kg] frying chicken pieces
  • 2 cups [500 mL] milk
Coating
  • 1/2 cup [70 g] flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] pepper
  • Melt margarine in a 9 x 13-inch [23 x 33-cm] pyrex pan in a 350°F [180°C] oven.
  • Mix together flour, paprika and pepper.
  • Coat chicken pieces with coating mixture.
  • Put chicken pieces in margarine, turing to coat.
  • Bake for 30 minutes.
  • Pour milk over and around chicken.
  • Bake for an additional 45 minutes.
