- 3 eggs
- 1 package super moist devils' food cake mix
- 1 [21-ounce / 597-mL] can cherry pie filling, regular or lite
- 1/3 cup [80 mL] vegetable oil
- 1 small package chocolate instant pudding and pie filling mix
- Whipped cream [canned]
- Maraschino cherries

- Heat oven to 350°F [180°C].
- Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch [33 x 23-cm] pyrex pan.
- Beat eggs in a large bowl.
- Stir in cake mix, pie filling and oil until blended.
- Spread in pan.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- Prepare pie filling, as on box for pie.
- Let stand about 5 minutes or until thickened.
- Spread over cake.
- Refrigerate, covered with plastic wrap.
- Decorate with whipped cream and cherries or serve with a dab of whipped cream and a cherry on each piece.
