- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 pound [113 g] margarine
- 6 cups [1.5 L] water
- 6 chicken broth cubes
- 2 packages frozen chopped broccoli
- 4 cups [1 L] thin egg noodles
- 1 pound [454 g] velveeta cheese
- 6 cups [1.5 L] milk
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] garlic powder

- Brown onion in margarine.
- Add water and chicken broth cubes.
- Bring to boil.
- Add frozen broccoli; cook until broccoli is done.
- Add egg noodles; cook until tender.
- Add velveeta cheese; stir until cheese is melted.
- Add milk and garlic powder; heat thoroughly.
- Serve.
