- 4 cups [1 L] strawberries

- 1 cup [250 mL] strawberries
- 1/4 cup [60 g] sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] finely shredded lemon peel
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] cream sherry

- Place the berries in a blender or food processor bowl.
- Add sugar, lemon peel, lemon juice and sherry.
- Blend or process until smooth.
- Cover and refrigerate sauce 1 to 2 hours.
- At serving time, divide the 4 cups [1 L] strawberries among 6 wine glasses.
- Spoon sauce over berries.
