- 2 packages [1 pound / 454 g] pound cake mix
- 1 teaspoon [5 mL] nutmeg
- 1 cup [250 mL] milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons [30 mL] caraway seeds
- 1/2 cup [125 mL] Brandy

- Preheat oven to 325°F [160°C].
- Place cake mix in bowl, sprinkle in nutmeg and mix well.
- Add milk.
- Stir until mixture is moistened.
- Beat about 1 minute at medium speed.
- Add eggs; stir in and beat about 1 minute.
- Add seeds and brandy; mix.
- Pour into a well greased bunt pan.
- Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Ice with thin icing sugar frosting.
