Homemade Ice Cream [Ice cream maker] Hot Fudge Sauce

Servings: 1 cup [250 mL] sauce
Ice Cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups [500 g] sugar
  • 4 cups [1 L] cream
  • 2 teaspoons [10 mL] vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] salt
  • 1 can condensed milk
Sauce
  • 1/4 cup [60 g] + 2 tablespoons [30 g] sugar
  • 1 [5-ounce / 142-mL] can evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] semisweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 g] butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon [2.5 mL] vanilla extract
Ice Cream
  • Beat eggs until foamy.
  • Gradually add sugar.
  • Beat until thick.
  • Add cream, vanilla and salt; mix.
  • Pour into can.
  • Add condensed milk to fill line [5 cups / 1.25 L].
  • Process in ice cream maker.
Sauce
  • Combine sugar, evaporated milk and chocolate morsels in a small saucepan.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring until chocolate melts and mixture boils.
  • Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
  • Serve.
