- 1 [3 ounce / 85 g] pack lemon-flavored gelatine
- 1 cup [250 ml] hot water
- 1 cup [250 ml] whipping cream
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
Sauce
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups [375 ml] milk
- 1/2 cup [125 ml] sugar
- 4 tablespoons [60 ml] flour
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 ml] salt
- 1 teaspoon [5 ml] vanilla

- Dissolve lemon-flavored gelatine in hot water.
- Refrigerate until it starts to set.
- Whip cream until stiff peaks form.
- When gelatine is ready, add to whipped cream, along with bananas.
- Whip once more, until well mixed.
- Refrigerate until completely set.
- Serve with sauce.
Sauce
- In a small saucepan, beat egg yolks with a fork.
- Slowly pour in a little milk.
- Add sugar, flour and salt.
- Mix well.
- Add remaining milk.
- Cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Flavor with vanilla and cool.
- Serve.
