- 1/4 cup [60 ml] red hot pepper, seeded and minced
- 3/4 cup [190 ml] green bell pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 1/2 cups [375 ml] cider vinegar
- 6 1/2 cups [1.625 L] sugar
- 1 [6 ounce / 190 ml] bottle fruit pectin
- Green food coloring
- 5 [8 ounce / 250 ml] sterilized jars

- In a large casserole, mix well red and green peppers, cider vinegar and sugar.
- Bring to boil; boil for 10 minutes.
- Add fruit pectine; boil for 1 minute more.
- Add food coloring.
- Lightly cool; pour into jars.
- To seal, turn jars upside-down.
