Crunchy Chocolate Bars

IngredientsPreparation
  • 2 cups [500 mL] semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] chunky peanut butter
  • 3 cups ]750 mL] Cheerios cereals
  • Grease an 8-inch [20-cm] square baking pan.
  • Into the top part of a double boiler, melt together chocolate chips and peanut butter stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from the heat and gradually blend in cereals.
  • Evenly spread mixture into prepared baking pan.
  • Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, then cut into 24 small or 12 large bars.
