Mint Punch
Comments: If desired, just before serving, pour in some ginger ale.
IngredientsPreparation
  • 4 cups [1 L] water
  • 1 1/2 cups [300 g] sugar
  • 3/4 cup [190 mL] freshly crushed mint leaves
  • Juice of 6 oranges
  • Juice of 3 lemons
  • Fresh mint leaves [to garnish]
  • Heat together water and sugar for 5 minutes; remove from heat.
  • Add crushed mint leaves; set aside for 30 minutes.
  • Strain.
  • Mix together strained liquid, orange juice and lemon juice.
  • Pour into tall glasses, garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve.
