- 1/2 pound [227 g] dried apricot halves
- 2 cups [500 mL] breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup [60 mL] crushed crackers
- 1 1/2 teaspoons [7.5 mL] salt
- 1/4 teaspoon [1 mL] paprika
- 4 tablespoons [60 mL] chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon [15 mL] chopped parsley
- 4 tablespoons [60 g] melted butter
- Cold water

- Rinse dried apricot halves.
- Into a casserole, cover apricot halves with cold water.
- Boil apricot halves until soft, drain then finely chop apricot halves.
- Mix together breadcrumbs, crushed crackers, salt, paprika, chopped celery and chopped parsley.
- Mix in melted butter, then chopped apricot halves.
- Thoroughly mix.
